The Institute of Banking Studies (IBS), through the Fintech Academy Jordan (FTA Jordan), is implementing a national initiative aimed at training for employment in the fields of financial technology and innovation. This initiative includes the launch of a specialized training program fully funded by one of our donor partners.

The program targets university graduates and job seekers, with the objective of developing their skills in fintech and financial innovation, enabling them to compete in today’s evolving job market, and enhancing their employment opportunities in the banking and financial sectors. It also aims to empower participants to develop their own projects that can generate sustainable income.

This program aligns with the Academy’s vision and strategic objectives, responding to the changing needs of the labor market and equipping participants with the knowledge and practical skills required by financial institutions and banks.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a Jordanian citizen
  • Must not exceed 30 years of age
  • Must not have been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or breach of trust
  • Must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in one of the Information Technology fields, and be no older than 30 years
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must have a minimum GPA of “Very Good” in their latest academic degree
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Must not be required to perform military service during the program year
  • Has not previously participated in any programs under the Youth, Technology and Jobs Project, nor in any programs offered by the Digital Skills Association  (DigiSkills)
